I’m researching homophobic attacks in Europe and came across this post from a gay man who says he was assaulted by a group of Muslims for holding hands with his boyfriend.
What struck me wasn’t the story itself, but the replies.
Many seemed more interested in gaslighting him about about who attacked him than in the fact he was attacked at all.
It’s a dynamic I’ve been hearing about more and more in Ireland.
Gays feel reluctant to discuss these experiences because they know they’ll be accused of prejudice before anyone even engages with what they’re saying.

yall don’t think it’s WEIRD , that CPS will potentially take your kids if you’re struggling (unable to feed them , clothe them , pay for necessary medicines , etc.) 🤔 and then once your kids are taken , they put them in a home with another family , and then give THEM money every month to take care of your kids ??

Gay dudes think theyre slick but theyre not.
Theyll ever so gently test the waters to see if youre one of them. In a way that can be played off as a joke, or easily dismissed as if youre reading into something thats not there.
But theres reason for the words they use, and the phrasing of their convos. They're just putting out a little bit of bait, to see if they get a bite.
They can be tricky with this, theyll look at you with a sparkle in their eye after a few drinks, touch you gently, and kiss you passionately, trying to tell if youre one of them. DO NOT LET THEM. THIS IS A TRICK.

Gay men and women are just as fertile as heterosexual.

I truly believe gay people's place on earth is meant to be that of natural population control. We can't have babies just us alone, and when gay people desperately need a child of their own with their own genetics it is entirely egoic and not coming from a place of actually wanting to parent and foster life

🚨17-year-old Samuel Davis went to the Classic Mart & 420 Shop in San Antonio around 1 a.m. on Friday and tried to buy a 99-cent tobacco product. The store clerk refused to sell it to him because Davis was underage. The refusal led to an argument between the two inside the store. During the confrontation, Davis allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the store clerk multiple times. After the attack, Davis ran from the scene. When police arrived, they found the store clerk suffering from several stab wounds. He died at the scene from his injuries. Investigators reviewed store surveillance footage, which reportedly captured the incident, and a witness later identified Davis from a photo lineup. Police also spoke with a coworker who said Davis was a regular customer who often caused problems, acted aggressively, and was known to steal from the store. After a nearby standoff connected to the investigation, Davis was taken into custody and charged with murder. His bond was set at $500,000.

I remember in college I worked at this bar and someone ordered a Hennessy and coke and there was not only no Hennessy but also no cognac at all at this otherwise well stocked bar. I asked the manager “hey am I missing something, I can’t find Hennessy anywhere or any cognac”
