@PolitlcsUK This is interesting, we have Neville Chamberlain and the Vichy government of Marshal Philippe Petain to form protectorate for the Strait of Hormuz.
@CTVNews So the RBC report out the other day said we lost 1 trillion in investments over ten years of Trudeau, now Carney is having a summit to get that back, will we get that back in ten years if we continue to advocates for net zero, nope. That’s a question CTV should be asking.
Absolutely, he is an ideologue economist that thinks if you bring carbon to net zero all will be good in the world. So he is an economist and no one is questioning his credentials, as an economist we are questioning that net zero will destroy our economy, so again he is a ideologue, that prevents him from seeing the disaster of net zero economically and his decisions are not economic but performative.
Mark Carney has been wrong about every major economic question of our time.
- He predicted COVID would cause deflation
- He supported carbon taxes
- His Net-Zero Alliance is now bankrupt and shut down
- He wrote we should keep 50% of our oil in the ground
- He opposed the Northern Gateway Pipeline
He is an expert at making exactly the wrong call every single time.
Finnish President Stubb clearly thinks Canada would make a great addition to the European Union 🇪🇺🤝🇨🇦
"Whether Canada is part of the EU or not, is up for Canada to decide"
I’d love to see Canada join. What about you.
Yes or no?
Think about this, Mark Carney is the inspiration for Net Zero which is causing havoc in Europe, particularly Germany and the Canadian incoming deficit of $60 Billion. He is obviously not an intelligent economics, he is an ideologue economist. That’s a problem for our economy. Anyway Wayne Long, I hope Conor McGregor joins Edmonton he should add some fighting skills.
The HOUSE ERUPTS
Liberal MP Wayne Long: "that Conservative Leader and House Leader questioning our Prime Minister's economic education and experience is like a third line beer league hockey player questioning Conor McGregor's hockey skills"
You listen to other Parties of course you do, because you have nothing to offer otherwise, so we appreciate as our ideas to drop the carbon tax, reduce temporarily federal taxes on gas. So here’s a couple of more, dump net zero, build a pipeline or two and stop wasting time. You have done absolutely nothing since you got in, other than make commercials about what you’re going to do.
Sean Fraser on maintaining a collaborative tone despite securing a majority: "We listen to other parties and to people from different backgrounds, not because of the numbers and the outcomes, but because it actually improves the quality of decisions that we take."
@kinsellawarren The Boring Company, some people would hav they their heads around Elon Musk building this project in Canada but it the future. We can’t go up.
Let me get this straight, Poilievre is still at 38% in the polls as much as Harper was at his peak, we lost 3 ridings 2 that were Liberal before the election and one that was Bloc riding.
We just can’t replace every leader, because Liberals dislike him. I realize we lost 4 floor crossers but they were poached. If he quits Liberals will say he’s a quitter, if he stays they’ll say he’s foolish.
I never lose. I either win or learn." — Often attributed to Nelson Mandela
The Liberals are still courting Conservative MPs to cross the floor. Poilievre's pain may not be over yet.
Here's how the Liberals are doing it.

@AndrewScheer there is optimism or prayers that Carney has shifted his position on net zero. Don’t hold your breath, but if he does, he is a chameleon of many colours and he’s checking how the wind is blowing every day,
If you have a degree from a fancy University, but believe:
Money printing doesn’t cause inflation;
Net-zero policies create prosperity ;
Governments can pick winners and losers better than free markets;
Then you have been badly educated.
Remember, lots of world leaders with impressive degrees have inflicted great harm on their countries.
Carney’s diplomas can’t cover up the fact he had a terrible tenure at the Bank of England.
Or that he is giving Canada the worst economy in the G7.
@kinsellawarren As the article seems to say, there is optimism or prayers that Carney has shifted his position on net zero. Don’t hold your breath, but if he does, he is a chameleon of many colours and he’s checking how the wind is blowing every day,
Headlines you thought you'd never see, etc. "Oil and gas CEOs say they see Carney majority as a vote for Canadian energy - The Globe and Mail" theglobeandmail.com/business/artic…
Irrelevant, he is a bad economist, he is without question a crony economist or capitalist. If not for Jim Flaherty not Mark Carney who was in the right place at the right time to take some of the credit. Then his hubris with his net zero world policy and the testimony of Former Prime Minister Liz Truss that he was responsible for the precipitous decline of the UK economy. None of this is circumstantial, this is fact and you have participated in this ruse by spreading disinformation about Poilievre. Carney has done absolutely nothing in one year for Canada, other than commercials that are no different than the platitudes Trudeau said every day, nothing done. This is nothing more than a power grab and you know it. Lorne Gunther had it exactly right in is post today.
It’s unusual for Andrew to support the Conservatives, but if that’s what you saw, that’s not what it was. He stepped out of his partisan shoes and spoke some real truth about floor crossers and Democracy in general. Well done.
@ryangerritsen Nope continue to steal Poilievre’s ideas and Poilievre with still 38% support, obviously the only people that want to get rid of Poilievre are Liberals.

When @brianlilley says @PierrePoilievre's goose is nearly cooked, that's something the Tories can't ignore. There's no Canadian conservative writer as influential as Lilley. #cdnpoli
