@RITAENG1234 They should make sure that any party they mass defect to doesn’t have any internal issues, are ready to do their primaries on the 27th or 28th of May and they MUST leave the Exco of that party intact just as Obi did in LP.

@RITAENG1234 I think the ADC can look for another party who has their primary dates set for May 27 or 28th and mass defection to that party before the 30 day window elapses. No time to waste waiting for the courts

I hate it when Nigerians are treated without respect abroad. Bro exploded the moment immigration officers threatened to carry his food items. No one treats Indians like a piece of garbage.

If one person in ADC leaves ADC tonight, and joins another political party, the chairmanship tussle currently shattering the party will die a natural death. The new factional chairman Bala Nafiu will reaffirm the truth that he has long resigned from ADC.

As it stands we forget this issue had been on before now everybody in ADC knows that it's just seating in a time bomb Apc didn't take ADC to court an ADC member did.. inec said until it's resolved I can't deal with either

@chuddylexical @Airbooka @__Damola_ @channelstv How did you know he met with the APC do you have any evidence ... Exactly as you said if he had resigned then there would have been no need for all these wranglings but remember too it wasn't the APC that went to court inec just interpreting the courts ruling in this case

@Sobayo_AJQ @channelstv @olusegunfadipe2 They have done alot true. But why allow someone as highly placed in the party as the Fm Deputy chairman be aggrieved. Shouldn't they have found a way to bring him to the fold?? Now APC as everyone alleges want to use him against them and there's no better time to do it than now.

@channelstv It started with LP. After many months after court judgement, INEC refused to make an official statement on that. Immediately PO left LP, INEC released an official statement recognizing Usman. PDP was pledged with court cases till the party became empty. Now ADC.

Every year, we gather to applaud the same spectacle: students competing in mathematics, English, physics, and chemistry, crowned as the “brightest,” and paraded as symbols of national pride. It feels noble. It feels necessary. But beneath the applause lies an uncomfortable question we have refused to confront: what exactly are these competitions solving? For decades, generations of young Nigerians have been funneled into these contests, encouraged to memorize, calculate, and outperform. Yet, when the applause fades and the medals gather dust, reality sets in. Many of these brilliant minds, once celebrated, find themselves navigating the same harsh economic conditions, struggling to survive in a system that never truly needed their talents in the first place. If excellence is being rewarded, why does it so rarely translate into impact? The problem is not intelligence. It is direction. We have mistaken academic performance for societal contribution. We celebrate the ability to solve abstract equations, yet ignore the absence of solutions to real problems: food scarcity, poor water systems, unreliable electricity, flooding, waste management, and unaffordable housing. These are not theoretical challenges. They are urgent, everyday realities affecting millions. Imagine if the same energy, funding, and prestige were redirected. What if competitions challenged students to design low cost irrigation systems using local materials? To develop simple methods for preserving food without electricity? To create affordable housing models suited to local climates? To rethink drainage systems in flood prone communities? Young people, especially at the point they leave secondary school, are at a powerful intersection of creativity, curiosity, and courage. This is when minds are bold enough to question and innovative enough to attempt solutions. Yet instead of channeling that potential into solving real problems, we confine it within outdated measures of excellence. This is not just a missed opportunity. It is a systemic failure. We must begin to ask harder questions. Why do we celebrate achievements that do not improve our collective reality? Why do we continue to invest in systems that reward performance without purpose? And more importantly, what would happen if we demanded better? It is time to redefine what excellence means. Not as the ability to outscore others in exams, but as the capacity to improve lives, solve problems, and build sustainable futures. Until then, we are not celebrating brilliance. We are celebrating its misdirection.

Many people may not fully grasp the importance of this loan, particularly for the rehabilitation of Lagos and the Tin Can Ports project. Credit should be given to the President for taking this step. Lagos genuinely needs this intervention, as it generates more revenue for the federal government than any other state in Nigeria.

This same @PeterObi supported the Naira redesign,an exercise that disrupted livelihoods, shut down businesses, and left many Nigerians struggling. Yet, many people seem to forget so quickly. Peter Obi is not an outsider,he is part of the establishment. His policies are not fundamentally different from those of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, or Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, they all align with similar neoliberal ideas and policies . Nigerians deserve to look beyond personalities and start questioning policies.@PeterObi the gbajue of our time.

Finding out like this hurts… but it’s the best thing that could happen to you as a man. Because now you know the truth. Now you can stop being used. Now you can start building yourself into the man who is never taken for granted again. The flower guy didn’t lose. He finally saw the game.
