@steeletalk Some restaurants/bars had World Cup specific menu’s during this time to help the kitchen/staff. And yes those were not cheap but people are out and about and generally happy right now? And sitting for 2+ hrs to watch the game.

Is it just me? Seems like many Vancouver restaurants have used the World Cup tourism boost as an excuse to significantly hike menu prices. Anyone else notice that?

@Adamkblat Basically we don’t trust this management group. So trade down to avoid a screw up of picking the wrong player at 1st overall.

The best outcome for the #Canucks might be getting 2nd overall this year. You know they aren't winning the lottery twice in a row so getting 1st overall in 2027 would be the better play. Vancouver should also seriously consider trading down if they don't get 1st this year.
