Leftist Linux Distributions are more likely to embrace Age Verification. Non-Political or Right-Leaning Linux Distros are more likely (almost certain) to reject Age Verification. That appears to be predominantly true. For example: Fedora, Debian, & elementary OS all have extreme Leftist politics... and all are embracing, planning for, or facilitating Age Verification. Framework Computer has announced an update to the Open Source projects which they financially sponsor. + KDE is now being sponsored for 10,000 EUR per year. + XFCE is now being sponsored at $209 per month. - GNOME has been officially been removed from the list of sponsored projects. The official ending of GNOME sponsorship is not surprising, considering the outlandish attacks which GNOME (and GNOME representatives) issued at Framework. Including a GNOME spokesperson declaring that Framework’s CEO contained “Hitler Particles” (a statement which no member of GNOME leadership was willing to disagree with). Don't be too excited. Season 2 was shot and produced simultaneously with season 1, and in all likelihood, it will still release and you'll still get all the usual suspects of review shows talking about it. The production reality also means there is zero opportunity for season 2 to make any improvements based on criticism of season 1. It's going to be the exact same trash.

Here we see two high profile Open Source people (Red Hat & GNOME) discussing the problem with what they call “MAGA/Linux”. Discussions like this have been increasing among Open Source organizations and projects lately. They are very upset that “MAGA/Linux” is “gaining traction”. What, exactly, is “MAGA/Linux”? The definition seems vague, but you’ll see words like “XLibre”, “Lunduke”, & “OpenMandriva” regularly associated.
