@RoPanuganti @amartintbone I really only employed it once, but it worked really well. The best part is they're per-string configurable. I'd like to claim that the colors make a difference, but they don't. I just grabbed a handful that were lying around.

@EnrichFlavor @megabeardo I don't disagree with any of that, and I'll admit that GC isn't a great place to go to find interesting non-standard things (sometimes the used section is cool), but the idea that "serious musicians" can't do fine with cheap gear rankles me right up.

@armcannon When I'm recording drums (Kevin, typically), I'm actually facing away from them, so I mix drummer perspective AND audience (of 1) perspective. You can have it all.
