RIP Jacques Delors 🙏 JD was the father of the EU Single Market. Leaving the EU Single Market with Brexit means the UK has £40 billion less tax income from trade. That is less money to invest in our NHS, our schools, our infrastructure, etc. It was JD's vision that helped give the UK prosperity for decades. May we be grateful for the prosperity that he allowed so many to enjoy, and I hope one day soon the UK will return to the EU Single Market and enjoy economic prosperity once again.
