Less covered news today: The US is also getting rid of the 'de minimis' exemption that allowed Temu, Shein, AliExpress to send shipments to the US duty free if their value was under $800. Theoretically that will affect those companies globally, as a very large market dries, and parts of their economies of scale evaporate. 28% of Shein's sales are to the US.
