The other club I've covered weekly for the paper is Everton. We basically had our own seat at Goodison, even for big matches in one of the smallest press boxes, as the club recognised we covered every game. You'd think Liverpool would do the same, especially for a socialist paper

Disappointing again. The Morning Star has covered Liverpool consistently for years, yet our writers are always turfed out for games that have extra interest from 'bigger' outlets. You'd think a supposed left-wing club would give some priority to the only socialist daily paper.

@ProfDaveAndress to be honest I can see why centre right governments want to do it's because it is the only way of doing more tax cuts. what confuses me is why center left commentators think that it's an egalitarian thing to do

if you are currently in your 30s, don't have a defined benefit occupational pension and are not able to save 20% of your post-tax income, cutting the indexation of the state pension is about the worst thing the government could do to you.
