I've been working on a project where I draw every member of the Titans/Teen Titans who joined before Flashpoint, and this is the final piece. It's the biggest art project I've ever done, and I'm happy with how it turned out! #dccomicsfanart #dccomics

@my_that79452 this, the racism of the bana-mighdall and chuma, and hermes being a black hole of screentime for some reason were huge barriers to my enjoyment. this run had very high highs and low lows

In all seriousness, the Amazons and specifically Hippolyta forgiving Heracles for raping and enslaving them was one of the lowest points in the entire run.

@ovinho66 he had a gf named marcy who broke up with him when he became cyborg. she later joins brother blood's cult and gets killed trying to leave, which is why the titans first involve themselves with brother blood

@mewmdude77 this was after rebirth brought him back but before his marriage with linda was brought back into continuity. he remembered her but she saw him as a stranger. he tried to reconnect with her but it didn't work out till she got her memories back

@Mythrlz Given how most Black superheroes are written he's sexless because if he had a Black/Asian/latino female love interest white writers would have to write about it & they don't want to. And they would rather jump off a cliff than write about them having white female love interests.

@Mythrlz he's dated the same civilian woman named sarah charles for most of his existence. probably the most stable/consistent relationship any key titan has other than wally and linda

@SMcloughli24864 eighteen and nineteen are still counted as teens usually since they have "teen" in the word. or at least that's the standard i heard while growing up; it could be different elsewhere

((I think this has multiple layers of cringe for OP thinking those are official designs and then the other person not realizing that Raven and Starfire debuted as young adults and not teens, lol.

@SMcloughli24864 @empatheticcain they were all teens at the start of new teen titans, but most were legal adults. beast boy/changeling was 16; starfire, raven, and cyborg were 18; wonder girl, robin, and kid flash were 19

@empatheticcain So there were basically equal number of adults as actual teens on the teen titans How old was Dick when he joined? Otherwise it’s just BB, Wally, and Donna

re: jason todd on the teen titans not saying this to defend jason specifically cause I don't have a strong opinion on him. but there is a precedent of adults being on the team (even with "teen" in the book's name) in mentor roles. eg ray palmer, beast boy, raven, starfire, cyborg

@Blaze5678289994 There have been Teen Titans teams with an adult or two as a mentor before. Ray Palmer in the Jurgens series, Beast Boy and Raven right before N52, Starfire in Rebirth
