I don’t recommend you guys copy this, It’s actually one of the silliest bets and the only way to actually profit is by max sizing. If you lose, you lose it all. There’s no salvaging any of it. When Khabib and McGregor fought, We knew Khabib would win, But I wasn’t supremely confident because McGregor was still ELITE and one of the best at the time. When Topuria fights Gaethje, I still wouldn’t “all in” on Topuria, Topuria will win, but Gaethje’s “still got it” just as good. Chimaev vs Strickland? I can’t 3D model a single scenario in my brain where Strickland does ANYTHING. He’s going to get ragdolled badly. It’s like sending a lamb straight to the slaughterhouse. If Strickland had KO power, I would never do this. Does Strickland have better endurance and could possibly outlast Chimaev with teep kicks and 1-2s? MAYBE, if they were just strikers. I expect Bo Bassett to absolutely DEMOLISH the NCAA next year at 141lbs‼️ I could see him scoring bonus in every match. 5. Shoutout to IOWA Wrestling - after a disasterclass of a season, they walked away with 7 (!!!) All Americans. They deserve a lot of credit for that performance 🤝 6. Rough outing for Cornell, based on their history - I would expect them to bounce back next season 😳 Meyer Goat was incredible becoming a 3x All American with no redshirt 🐐 7. It’s not uncommon for late August birthdays to hold off the first year they’re eligible for kindergarten. June/July birthdays do this too. The cutoff is technically a few days after his birthday so he could’ve started a year earlier but plenty of parents make this choice. It’s not uncommon for high level wrestling talent to be held back a year in middle school for athletic development. You can argue it’s dumb or unfair but it’s incredibly common. His next opponent did the same exact thing. Many of the best kids in my area did it as well. When you add both together it looks egregious but both decisions are reasonable and common practices. His August birthday exacerbates the issue. Kid gets a ton of hate for it when he’s not even a full year older than most of the other top seniors. Jaxon Joy is 21 didn’t hear much about his age after that one. I’m not even a Bo glazer I just think the whole age thing is overblown - everyone except Levi Haines does it

March birthday turning 19? Sounds like he reclassed… I’m not arguing for or against the practice just pointing out how common it is. Bo can’t control what month he was born. August birthday commonly the oldest in their class + 1 reclass same as Harer (and 50 other guys in this tournament)

I watch/have done a lot of grappling and most forms have mechanisms to prevent sitting on top of your opponent or at minimum don’t heavily reward it i.e. stalling/no points just for sitting in half guard etc. “Just stop the takedown” yeah ok well the issue is Islam is an ELITE takedown artist. I give Islam his props he uses a formula the rules allow for and is elite. Funny enough if they continuously stood them up I still think Islam would be elite as he is a highly skilled striker/could easily take a guy like JDM down again. Islam winning isn’t the issue but the rules allowing him to win in the manner he did is. It’s not entertaining and he’s not really trying to finish/strike/progress because he can win on position alone. Ain’t nobody tryna watch that

@cigenjoyor @THATBOYMMAGURU watch ju jitsu/grappling..seems you are unfamiliar with that art. Islam is more so establishing grappling dominance when the fight is taken to the ground. Also fighters have 5 rounds?? Maybe stone walling the take down would prevent the supposed half guard stalling.
