I've always been immensely proud to be Irish. Living abroad it comes to fore. I've hated every government we have had because they're the worst of us. But always supported the Irish soccer team as best of us. Even under John Delaney. But if they play Israel behind closed doors abroad, I'm out.

@Sojourned_ @michaelmurph_y I'm not pro tax, but if tax is going to be paid it should be paid by the rich and very little should be paid by the poor, as a % of income. It's just common sense. Musk doesn't need more money, a regular man with a family does

Lefties are obsesssed with more tax. I don’t get why anyone is pro tax ✊ to begin with, but a wealth tax wouldn’t benefit your life at all. And it would almost certainly damage the economy.

I don't really want to talk about Gary Stevenson. He's nobody & shouldn't be worth the attention of anyone serious. But the danger is that if proper economists don't denounce him as the charlatan he so manifestly is, then his nonsense will give all economics a bad name.+
