What a grim look for Ligue 1 that is Lens opposed it, as they’ll now have to have a 2 week break and then play every 3 days, and also lose the opportunity to play PSG between 2 big UCL games Which clearly benefits PSG with a bigger squad in a title race. It’s farmers league stuff And the fact PSG tried to blame Hillsborough when the schedule is identical to Barcelona vs Atletico in the other UCL tie, and they played this trick against Chelsea too. Apart from the fact these Olise rumours are entertained unilaterally (and it’s pretty hilarious to see), how can Liverpool fans possibly put Bayern on the same level as Newcastle and Eintracht Frankfurt? "We heard that from Newcastle too". Yeah, did you ever see Newcastle win multiple trebles? Or Bayern holding 8 goals in a European tie? There’s your answer.

If I were Liverpool I would sign both Yan Diomande and Michael Olise this summer. This would be the dream move. Whether it’s realistic I’m not sure. But we said the same about signing both Ekitike and Isak this time last year… 🤷🏻‍♂️

People say Manchester City fans are glory hunters, they joined the club cause they are doing well, they will leave after Pep does and so on. But most of you became fans of other clubs when they were also doing well. Ask many Man U fans when they joined the club, it was during Ferguson era, Chelsea too, Barca, Madrid, most of their fanbase grew when they were growing and these are the memories they tell you of that made them join the team. Why is it now different with Man City?? Man City has created and given these fans memories that’ll last a lifetime, they’ve made them love the game, they’ve allowed them built a community and something they can look forward to yet somehow it’s “plastic”??

Liverpool wanted to do that on the left-hand side with Luis Díaz, but he was insistent on going to Bayern, so Liverpool respected that. Now they need to think in the summer about somebody that can play on the left-hand side. Liverpool are going to be busy with wide players and maybe versatile names that can play on both sides. There is appreciation for players like Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but no indication that a sale is on the cards. There is historical interest in Anthony Gordon, but Liverpool are just assessing their options. It is inevitable Liverpool are going to once again spend big.”

@nku3he Salah is the best big game player I have seen in England, and his stats prove that. Salah 17/18 is far more unique, diverse and surprising than Kane’s, but that’s context. Context is also appreciating that Kane is about to produce one of the greatest seasons by a 9 of all time.
