The Salah 17/18 Show

If I were Liverpool I would sign both Yan Diomande and Michael Olise this summer. This would be the dream move. Whether it’s realistic I’m not sure. But we said the same about signing both Ekitike and Isak this time last year… 🤷🏻♂️

[🟢] @JacobsBen on what next for Liverpool for this summer: “From Liverpool’s perspective, replacing Salah has always been something they’ve been planning for. Liverpool prefer to have a transition, so after about a year the hope is you start to think who have you got coming through, or who can you sign. Finding a right-sided attacker has always been on Liverpool’s radar. But the left as well. Liverpool wanted to do that on the left-hand side with Luis Díaz, but he was insistent on going to Bayern, so Liverpool respected that. Now they need to think in the summer about somebody that can play on the left-hand side. Liverpool are going to be busy with wide players and maybe versatile names that can play on both sides. There is appreciation for players like Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but no indication that a sale is on the cards. There is historical interest in Anthony Gordon, but Liverpool are just assessing their options. It is inevitable Liverpool are going to once again spend big.”

Michael Olise is at the top of all the shortlists of top European clubs but Bayern are unwilling to let him go [@FabriceHawkins]
