@sharon_wisner Before that, milkmen delivered loose milk to households using horse drawn vehicles and poured it into containers that the households left on their doorstep. How green was that?

My old neighbour tells me that in the old days there were Milkmen who every morning drove an Electric Vehicle & delivered milk in glass bottles with foil caps & who would pick up the empty bottles. This is the greenest thing I have ever heard! Why did we stop this?
