Four years ago, I published this book that was my best attempt at faithfulness. The story since then is messy - this is a book that got me fired, tore my world apart, *and* brought me so many opportunities and joys. I wouldn’t want to live it again, but I am still so thankful.

But here’s when going to a liturgical church is so helpful. Regardless of what’s happening, the liturgy grounds us in God’s truth. The Eucharist gives us his grace. And we are reminded that the work of the church goes on regardless of human foibles. Thanks be to God.

Things got a little dicey online between some prominent leaders of our church this week. I was tempted to skip church, run away from the disappointment and hurt. Trying to figure out what love looks like in these moments. 1/2

A year ago I was in the throes of an unexpected divorced, completely lost. Yesterday I closed on a brand new home, which I purchased all on my own. I didn’t anticipate how powerful it would make me feel—like, yes, I can do anything I put my mind to! What should I do next??? 💪🏽
