Twyla needed urgent care tonight so I ventured out of my neighborhood. She’s fine and it was nice checking out the #WestLoop as I drove through. Not just fancy restaurants.

@NaniWrites I’m definitely at that age. I remember designers using Michael Martinez as the gauge. If he could read it, then it passed the test. 😂

I’m starting to see “wrong number” scams roll in. Where people text you, asking you to dinner. So to be a good human, you text back saying hey wrong number. Boom. They start schmoozing with appreciation for your kindness then ask your name, etc. Nope.

We are different generations. Me, Gen X, her Gen Z. I think she’s an old soul, while I’m a young soul. 💕

I’ve been exploring the world of social media influencers & have to say I found one that really resonates. Watching her videos doesn’t seem like a commercial for featured products, but more like an honest window into her life, which reflects my own.

@RappaConcorde The recipe said to use grated horseradish only but I could only find the creamy kind with grated horseradish in it. But still! Yum

@RappaConcorde You spread it on the meat and let it slow cook all day. Easy 😋
