They were told Beth would be buried the very next day without their consent. Refusing to accept this, the family fought for Beth’s body. After intense negotiations, they managed to bring her home. With the help of a translator, Luke, his mother, and Beth’s mother carried her body — zipped in a bag through hospital corridors to arrange her return to the UK. Once home, an autopsy revealed one final, devastating detail: Beth’s heart had been removed. Her death is now under investigation amid growing concerns of medical negligence and serious misconduct.’
