Labour is, has always been and always will be the party of the working class 🌹 🌹 🌹

Today millions will get sick pay for the first time, and from day one Paternity leave from day one Ending the two-child benefit cap will lift hundreds of thousands of kids out of poverty. Union campaigning & a Labour government making a difference. Progress made. More needed.

I think it very fair to say we have the right leader of the UK in these very difficult and challenging times.
Not only is @Keir_Starmer is achieving great things at home and slowly repairing the terrible damage done by the Tories, but internationally, he represents us with great intelligence and dignity in face of the mad man in the White House @realDonaldTrump.
Also, and best of all, he is now steering us back home to where we truly belong, the heart of Europe and the EU.
So far, I give the man a deserved 10/10.

@Keir_Starmer Shouldn’t have too much an impact, oil prices have come back down? So why would cost of living be negatively affected?
English

I know many people across our country are worried about the impact of the Middle East conflict on the cost of living.
My Labour government is on your side, focused on protecting your families and acting in the national interest.

I’m so sorry that many voters were tricked by the extreme left.

This is just silly. Literally nothing Labour has done or said has been "imitating the far-right" or "abandoned progressive values". In fact this has easily been the most leftwing British PM and government since Harold Wilson.
Andrea Egan UNISON General Secretary@AndreaEganGS
The Greens won because Labour under Starmer has abandoned progressive values, imitating the far-right instead of taking the fight to them. If the Government wants to survive it urgently needs to stand up for workers and defend the fundamental values of our movement.

Keir, you’re a good man.
A decent man.
An Arsenal fan (always a good test of a man).
When you did Life Stories, I found your remarkable journey to the top of British politics very inspiring.
But this can’t go on.
For the good of the country, resign. @Keir_Starmer

The two-child benefit cap should STAY. It’s the only fair thing to do for taxpayers.
If you can’t afford more than two children, don’t have more.
We need to cut benefit handouts and cut taxes for workers.
The Tories have committed to bringing the two-child benefit cap BACK.

@knitman57 @UKLabour I am complaining about earning more than average and for that being taxed loads and for that money being given to welfare dependents and dysfunctional public services.
What should I grow out of in this example?
English

@UKLabour @labourpress Under Keith Starmer this is another lie.
The Labour Party has been hijacked by Tory lite.

@BethRigby Will there be any cuts to spending at all ?
It seems not.
I’m sure the chief economist of the IMF will have a long list of measures for her to implement when the inevitable crisis comes.
Watch the PLP wet their beds then
