"At Penn Medicine, telemedical visits went from 300 to 500 a month in February 2020, to 7,000 to 8,000 a day by that April. What surprised some people was that it was so successful..." Our CMIO Bill Hanson on the past, present, and future of telemedicine: bit.ly/3ihGVII

What does it take to pull off a <0.4% no show rate in a community vaccine clinic? Manual phone calls (even letters), solving for barriers like transportation and hesitation, and a team that cares. TY to our PSOM med student army & community volunteers.

1/ 4wks & 2800+ 1st doses💪🏾across W & SW Philly later... we came back to where we started. 550 2nd doses administered 🩹 with an NPS of 96. No show rate? < 0.4%. When health system & community leaders come together to prioritize & resource #equity, *everything* is possible.
