1/ Build in public update on Odie. The app has been live for a couple of months, but usage hasn’t turned into retention yet. Last 14 days: - 17 installs, 4 people recorded at least one note - Install → first note conversion: 23.53% - DAU: 7-day avg 0.14 - WAU: 90-day avg 0.50

i really should gatekeep this bc I’m worried it’ll get overused buuuuut these are the two tools im using to create (and animate) my app mascots 👀 genuinely surprised NOBODY is talking about midjourney anymore, so good for animations 😮‍💨

With coding agents, everything should be in a repo. Added a /marketing folder inside Odie and have Codex update it, use it and reference it. New feature? Update my mkt docs with the correct positioning -> then update my landing page based on the positioning. Virtuous cycle

V interesting read. In this context, it's important to not fall into tribalism. Don't pick a side, don't have emotional reactions to world events and practice compassionate skepticism. In a volatile world, propaganda spreads and people get scared. It's our duty to be calm.

Trying out this vibe marketing concept. My marketing context lives in the repo. When I ship a feature, I just reference the feature and regenerate copy with Codex. Product updates → feed positioning → update landing page. Pretty cool tbh

Should I introduce a profit share at @SenjaHQ ? I want the team to drive revenue growth and profitability so I need to actually align incentives Plus it feels like the right thing to do Here's what I am currently thinking: - Quarterly payouts - Equal split of 8% - 12% of profit [TBD] - Available to full time not fractional team members - Paid out to those currently at Senja at the point of payout - Paid out if you've been present for at least 2 of the last 3 months What do you think #buildinpublic?
