We have to retell stories accurately. It’s not okay to water down history for our comfort. Help bring about critical thinking by including correct sources and perspectives. #beaboutitlive

When teaching black history we can’t just talk about slavery and oppression. Start from a place of greatness and positivity. Research it and use it. @apron_education #beaboutitlive

I 💙 using the #GoogleClassroom Question option for weekly attendance. I decided to ask "Would you rather" questions. I can immediately see who's missing & how each student voted. Savory🍿 is winning rn. Are you sweet or savory? #distancelearning @GoogleForEdu

We are all sad about today’s news. But, teachers and students still have so much to offer each other this year. Let’s #stayengaged and enjoy the time we still have to learn together.

*I'm an educator.
I tried helping my kid...a different grade level & content area than I have taught.
It was hard! Imagine having no teaching experience. Imagine having only 1 parent. Imagine worrying about food or livelihood.
Please maintain compassion.
