So tomorrow I begin another round of Chemo called The Red Devil. Red for the color, Devil because apparently it’s HELL. Hopefully my experience will not be as terrible as I am afraid it will be.

@LeoneClark A4: I am a very curious person with diversified interest. Because I am this way it transfers into my classroom. My students see me engage in this and I encourage them to follow suite. Talking about what we learned really reinforces learning and curiosity.
Q4 “Curious learners [students] dig deep into the content and don’t stop at surface information” p. 67. How do your own curiosities and interests drive your professional work? #Q4PLCTalk
@LeoneClark A3: "While question 4 students could be gifted, the group of students considered question 4 may change from week to week and by content area." p48 #Q4PLCTalk
Q3 - Provide a quote from chapter 3 that resonated with you most. (Ex-“Teachers should be asking students what problem they want to solve, not what they want to be when they grow up.” P. 55) #Q4PLCTalk
@mandysnel A1: Love, love, love using timers. It really does help with transitions, but it is also great for establishing routine. I find that my students start to rely on them. #Q4PLCTalk
@jackenn27 A2: I agree. It is essential to have a good relationship with students and to get to know their areas of interest. This will allow teachers to really provide choice that is impactful. #Q4PLCTalk
Q2: I believe knowing your learners is the most essential element for personalized learning. Knowing our learners allows us to make learning relevant and engaging for our students. We can focus learning around real-world examples and develop strong connections for Ss. #Q4PLCTalk
@LeoneClark A2 If students can connect their learning to their own interest, goals, and talents to personalize their learning then achieving a deep level of learning will occur, therefor it is the most important for personalize learning. #Q4PLCTalk
Q2 Time for our book study Chapter 2 question!!! And great job on Chapter 1 last week!
Which element of personalized learning do you feel is most valuable and why? #Q4PLCTalk ❤️🐊❤️
@LeoneClark A1- I feel this is one of the scariest concepts for teachers, but when you get there with your students it is empowering for them. I would suggest that teachers observe their peers that are successful in this. Then try it and keep on trying it. #Q4PLCTalk
Okay, Gators! Let’s kick off our book study!
Q1 - What advice would you give a teacher to move from “sage on the stage” to “guide on the side” or “mentor in the middle”? #Q4PLCTalk
@LeoneClark AP2. I don't feel that any time is spent discussing what to do if they already know it. We tend to worry more about filling gaps than extending learning. #Q4PLCTalk
QP2 - After answering the 4 questions below, what % did you honestly given to Q4? Why?
(This is practice question 2 so remember to answer QP2 with AP2. Don’t forget to hashtag #Q4PLCTalk !!!) a.co/iIgVdk5
