After 10+ years on Mac, switching to Windows made me miss the little things. Like seeing battery levels for my Bluetooth headphones. So, I vibe coded a lightweight tray app to fix. See a problem, fix a problem! It’s open source too: github.com/ckenst/windows…

@pgrizzaffi I’m testing it with my regular AirPods and it’s working which is great. I will say it’s good to see Windows has the ability to snap windows to a screen and virtual desktops. Also good it has basic screenshot functionality built in.

@ckenst That's awesome. I need to try that out. I struggled with the Mac because most of my work career has been on Windows. That said, I loved the Mac feature that "shaking the mouse" would enlarge the pointer to make it easier to find.

@FintechKristen More details of the use cases please. What exactly did voice help with? Shopping list stuff I use my Amazon Echo. Kinder enrollment seems like you’d need instructions to an agent. What about breakfast tho?

Spent the last few days with my mom (67, retired office manager) and used Work/Voice to help cook a big breakfast, finish my daughter’s kindergarten enrollment, and manage the packing and shopping list for upcoming family vacation. She’s hooked. People need to *see* use cases!

I'm enjoying my $20 Codex subscription from @OpenAI. I've hit my 5 hour limit regularly (or gotten close) but rarely hit my weekly limit. I also have at least 3 resets. 👏
