why is it cynical? that I interpret "Ted Lasso" in a way that you don't? probably the series will deteriorate with the seasons since it is a difficult concept to sustain; I am only in season two. "Ted Lasso" is the entertainer/comedian/optimist who represents the most outward persona of the American personality but if you peer beneath the surface he is deeply wounded if not traumatized, & is keeping everything in motion for the sake of others--cannot "give up."
