@ckummrow1@ImCollegeSoccer The statement of ‘find a way to make it happen’ is what’s in question. For those w/ limited financial resources - find a way to be seen; produce a low/no-cost demo, go to local ID camps, the JUCO route, etc… What’s elitist about encouraging those 2 find a way 2 help themselves?

Recruits, your competition is doing all this & more. Do you think they care that you can’t afford it? No! Get up & find a way to make it happen.#CSTruth
@DStusek@ImCollegeSoccer It’s the reality for those with unlimited funds and time. It’s not the reality for most families who are paying for all of it. I could put my kid through school myself with the money I have spent on soccer.
@ckummrow1@ImCollegeSoccer College soccer coaches have limited time & scouting resourcing. They’re scouting those who make it easiest on them. How is that ‘elitist’? The world isn’t going to come looking for you like in HS football. Do what you have to to be seen. Find a way. It’s just the reality.
“Supporting our LGBTQ staff and students is not politics, it is a human rights issue. We can be professional, focus on high levels of teaching and learning, support achievement, and still advocate for equity," Kummrow said. My sister. Damn proud. jsonline.com/story/news/202…
Our local public elementary school is having a 'Mining the Future' Fun Day to raise money for programs we love. AZ ranks last in the country in per student funding, so ANY amount helps for: musical instruments, the gardens, supplies for teachers, etc. pledgestar.com/mercurymine/pl…
@PattyArquette@washingtonpost I work in the district. We’ve also been told to take down BLM and anti-racist classroom signs, rainbow flags, and have “paused” our equity work in a district with 35% minority students, because it is “too political” and we are not “activists or advocates.”
