My Bungie maternity leave benefits are gone b/c the baby isn't here yet. Had I had my baby before being laid off, I'd get STD pay. But the good news is that I live in WA state and can apply for WA paid maternity leave even if I lost my job. hopefully I get approved. 🤞

I've been impacted by the layoffs announced this morning. It's been a privilege working with everyone at Bungie for the past (almost) 5 years.
But it's just really bad timing b/c my maternity leave was supposed to start next Monday and I got laid off today.

Quick runs can still take nearly 2 hours, there’s no real hiding and everyone needs to know their role (which is funny because Witness is probably the one you can get away with)

I’m doing another play through in my time off and I can’t encourage people enough to sit down and buy this. Get through the rougher edges of 1. I promise, it’s so worth it.

My hot take is that the light/dark saga is over, begin the process of ripping it up and starting again. Bin the lot or make a new separate thing, can't keep hanging on to the past, need to move beyond exodus crash et al.
