Not every young boy is on a county development squad. Not every boy attends a school competing at A level. Today, a combined selection of 2nd yr/u15 from Offaly schools competing at C & D level played Knockbeg College (A level) in a game. This exposure is critical to development.

Our own high-intensity coach, Hughie Hannon, will lead the first hour, focusing on tackling, defending, and goal creation. Former Tipperary hurler and highly respected coach Tommy Dunne will take the second hour, exploring the principles of forward attacking play and the various scenarios involved in creating scores. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙮 A real Feel-Good day was had in the Faithful Fields last Saturday for the Condron Concrete all county nursery day for boys and girls aged 4-6. All 25 clubs were represented, with nearly 600 children attending alongside their coaches and proud parents for a fun-filled day in at our super facilities in the Faithful Fields. A huge thank you to the Offaly Coaching & Games Staff for their superb organisation, everything ran so smoothly, and the smiles said it all. It was fantastic to see the buses arriving, full of eager faces, the excitement alone was something special. These young players now move into their Go Games years, full of joy and enthusiasm for what’s ahead. Massive thanks yet again to Ken from Molloy Media Productions for producing a super high quality video. Well done to everyone involved, a brilliant day for Offaly GAA and a wonderful start for our youngest players. 🟢⚪️🟡
