@fishfulpenguin @codingfield @alpinelinux @risc_v @MilkV_Official We are currently running the vendor kernel for the pioneer box. Only 6.7 has basic support for it but its still limited. We do ship an alpine-edge kernel with support for rv64 but not supported for the pioneer.

@alpinelinux received two Milk-V Pioneer Box machines. Thank you @risc_v and @MilkV_Official. This brings us close to releasing a stable Alpine Linux RISC-V release.

Seems like we had issues with our ppc64le machines (again). I don't know if we should delay the release or drop ppc64le for now....

#alpinelinux 3.15.0-rc5 is out, with 5.15.4 kernels. Hopefully the last release candidate. There are also now alpine:3.15 docker images available for testing. We will try get the 3.15.0 out tomorrow, unless there are any blockers found in the rc5.

For over a decade I have missed that tab completion in busybox ash does not handle =. So for example dd if=/dev/ze<tab> does not expand. I finally made a patch for it and I can not stop think why I didn't do this 15 years ago. lists.busybox.net/pipermail/busy…

I am about to get defeated by Linux like it's 2010.
I have "console=tty0 console=ttyACM0,115200" in /proc/cmdline, cdc-acm.ko in the initramfs, and /dev/ttyACM0 is functional after boot, but the kernel doesn't actually put a console on it.
It's 2am. Help.
