We created treat bags for our friends today to thank them for their kindness and support during this academic year! @EAS_Equity

We created maps for our Beebots to travel on today! We set directions and observed and talked about the route undertaken! @sewalesEAS @EAS_STEM

We were very intrigued by the ant farm that belongs to Year 4! We were lucky enough to observe the Queen ant and all her busy workers! @sewalesEAS

Stop laminating peg labels. I have used these this year. All my new TA needs to do is wipe off the name and write the new one. Drawer labels have been black card and chalk pen too so no laminating. But have been stuck on with sellotape (plastic) so Welcome suggestions x

We explored the theme of ‘identity’ today and created images that conveyed our personalities and sense of uniqueness. We shared our ideas with our friends and celebrated our similarities and differences! @EAS_Equity

We released our worms from their temporary wormery homes and introduced them to the soil of our allotment! They will now help to make our soil nice and fresh! @sewalesEAS

Authentic Maths took us to the woodwork station where we are designing and making shelving for the walls of our Year 6 shop ‘Y Caban Iach’. Seriously impressed with their carpentry skills. They’ll be fitted and stocked ready for next weeks customers @NerysTudor @EAS_STEM

We thoroughly enjoyed our @loubyloustories session today! We had the opportunity to transform ourselves in a range of fantastic mini beasts … all with the power of our imaginations! @sewalesEAS

We developed lots of authentic Maths opportunities today when we began our earthworm enquiry! We measured our worms, discussed fractions … and even explored capacity! @EAS_Numeracy

Year 6 presented Author, Simeon Crowther @CrowtherSim with some Welsh themed gifts for his time spent across the school today. He attended lessons, reading his book to pupils and taking part in activities they had planned. Diolch yn fawr Sim!📖 @catmacaerphilly #literacy

As part of Mental Health week, we spent some time in our brand new allotments planting our science experiment’s germinated beans! We measured out 30cm between each bean so they have enough room to grow, and even managed to plant a few strawberry plants too! 🍓🌱
