@whatsuptucson I was assaulted last night crossing 7th near Herbert downtown. A couple jumped out of a light colored SUV. The man had dark hair, the woman was blond. I ended up with 3 staples in my head. Any info please contact me/TPD. It was so random. I'm in pretty bad shape.

Hi, so the woman who carried and gave birth to me was 13 years old, celebrated her 14th birthday only days before I was born. I should’ve been aborted. It’s really terrible that she was made to carry and birth a baby while she was a child herself. Am I happy to be alive? Yes. Absolutely. Very happy to be here. Would I be mad had I been aborted? No, I wouldn’t exist, I wouldn’t feel anything. I shouldn’t exist. She was a child. The lives of girls/women are more valuable than fetuses.

Tonight my boyfriend came over. I’ll preface this by saying I was not on my period when he arrived, and it wasn’t due for another week. We turned off the lights and got in bed. Normally I’ll give him oral after he goes down on me, but tonight we mixed it up and he went down on me then we had PIV sex. It was then that he whispered in my ear about wishing I would’ve gone down on him. Now here’s the thing. I had just showered, he had just given me oral, and I’m not too weirded out by tasting myself. So I was like you know what? Why not. So I went down on him. And I started GAGGING. Actually gagging! The taste of me on him was horrible, like batteries and metal. But I had already committed, plus HE suffered through it, so I couldn’t quit now. Had to see it through, you know? But the whole time I was trying not to vomit and thinking WHAT happened? Why does it taste SO awful? I’ve tasted myself before when making out after receiving oral, and it didn’t taste like this. Diet issue maybe? BV? I had no idea. We finish up. Turn the lights on. And you guessed it, a freaking bloodbath! My period must’ve started immediately after PIV, because he swore he didn’t taste anything. he was surprisingly chill about it. Me however? HORRIFIED. My stomach is still churning thinking about it. Ugh.

Doctor looked at my chart and said: “You’re only 27.” “Pain is normal for women.” “Have you tried losing weight?” “Sometimes women exaggerate cramps.” “What if this is just stress?” I said I can’t function. I can’t stand up without seeing stars. I’m scared. He said: “Let’s not jump to invasive procedures.” “What if you want kids soon?” “A biopsy can cause scarring.” “You don’t want to risk fertility over heavy periods.” Heavy periods. Not hemorrhaging. Not anemia. Not collapsing in the shower. Heavy periods. He offered birth control for the fourth time. I said, “I don’t care about preserving fertility. I care about not blacking out.” He paused. “Have you discussed that with your partner?” So I brought him. Doctor to him: “Are you okay if she can’t have children?” “You’re young. You might want a family.” “Would that be a dealbreaker?” Him: “She needs to stop bleeding. That’s the only family planning we’re discussing.” Suddenly the biopsy was scheduled. Pathology came back: precancerous cells. But sure. Let’s center hypothetical babies and imaginary men while a woman is actively deteriorating in front of you. Misogyny in medicine isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just asking a dying woman if a man might want kids someday.

@FemCondition @xevekiah My mom was turned away from the hospital because they thought she was on drugs. She told them she was sick. She begged them for help. She was sweating and burning up. They thought it was meth. No tests or treatment. 48 hours later she was dead. She went into septic septic shock.

@xevekiah This can't be true. It's illegal level of untrue and violates so many medical privacy standards it's ridiculous. If, by a smidgen, it is true, you should have sued. It's so illegal the hospital would have settled out of court for whatever number you asked. Stop lying, please.
