I say this after ~20 years of writing self-help and a lifetime of consuming it. Spend enough time in the world of “improvement,” and you’ll notice something strange: The people most obsessed with self-help are often the least helped by it. Behind the smiles and motivational quotes, behind closed doors and after a drink or two, the truth is that they’re not able to outsmart their worries. On one hand, perhaps this unhappiness is precisely what lands one in self-development in the first place, right? I long assumed this about myself, and it’s partially true. On the other hand, what if self-help itself is actually creating or amplifying unhappiness? Modern self-help contains an in-built flaw: To continually improve yourself, you must continually locate the ways you are broken. @1PantherPlace Gonna be hard for any coaching staff to overcome a lack of pass rush like that. Think it’d be hard to find a top ten defense from years past that’s bottom third in sack/pressure production

I’m impressed with the work he and his staff has done with the secondary. A highly disciplined unit with a knack for the ball, and it’s probably best to assume their starters fit comfortably within the rules/schematics. Honestly, I don’t care if it’s EJ, or Schwartz, or Spags. They need explosion at EDGE. 11 and 3 are promising. Personally, I’d be willing to spend fairly big there. For the right person, player, and medicals matter.

Carolina should model their offseason after what the Falcons just did Need more pass rush weapons. Need more aggressive playcalling. Evero did a decent job overall but with his contract up, I’d bring in a new DC next year No way Atlanta lets Ulbrich go there but maybe Raheem?
