MEANS OF ATTENTION, 2026 On view now at Shutter Gallery (17 Eldridge St in Chinatown) as part of Anatomy of a Soul Machine, curated by @kk898x I’ll be speaking about the piece there at 7pm tonight, sharing words about the means of attention, the generative force of tension, the possibility space between what is and what could be, and the potential for resolution. It will be a compressed and scattered rambling of the first essay in an upcoming series. This is the first sculpture i’ve made. The idea for the sculpture came to me the week before the show and fortunately the 3D wizard @squibs helped me bring it to life. It touches on the same concepts as a larger project I’ve spent the past year developing, but it’s medium and mode of engagement with those concepts differ significantly. It feels like a nice soft intro to the larger project as it gets close to being ready to share. Looking forward to beginning to publically articulate and map the ideas i've been navigating.
