Last year I had the great fortune of seeing the Northern Lights with my own eyes… Let me tell you, it’s such a truly wonderful spectacle. I’ve always wanted to share a video I have from that moment with Smart and Boom, ever since we were named… Because Auralis will always be the northern light… and SmartBoom is like an aurora borealis — magnificent, ethereal, beautiful, rare, but once you find it, your life can never be the same. My life changed thanks to them, and I’m waiting for the day they return so I can share that moment, which today is so meaningful for me and for the wonderful sisters I’ve met… I hope that day comes, when I can finally show our parents a miracle just like the miracle they are… For now, just one photo… I swear that picture doesn’t even begin to do justice to the reality of the Northern Lights… Just like every time someone meets our parents in person and tells us their beauty is far greater than what we see in photos! smartboom fanfic drabble. 🌡️Stay Here Awhile🌡️ Hot Bangkok afternoon. The air-conditioning isn’t on, just a fan whirring lazily overhead. Boom sits on the floor of the living room, back against the couch, scrolling through his phone. The screen reflects in his eyes…he shouldn’t read them but does anyway. Posts about him. The renaming of the series after he’s removed. Posts about Smart and the lawsuit. Fans throwing insults at them, at the companies, at each other. His jaw tightens. From behind, the couch dips. Smart leans over, peering at the screen for half a second then reaches out and takes the phone from his hand. Boom frowns immediately. “Hey.” Smart locks it. Sets it down out of reach. “Don’t read it.” “Give it back.” “No.” Boom exhales sharply, irritation flickering but it doesn’t quite land. From behind, Smart leans down and wraps his arms around Boom’s shoulders. He felt solid…warm…too warm for this sticky Thai weather. Boom clicked his tongue in annoyance. “You can hate me later,” Smart says. “Reading all that rubbish will just get you worked up and nothing will change.” The fan hums overhead. Circling and circling. Boom stares ahead for a moment, eyes still a little unfocused without the screen. “…fine,” he mutters. Smart doesn’t let go. His chin comes to rest lightly against Boom’s shoulder, breath warm against his neck. “Hot,” Boom mutters. “Mm.” “Aren’t you worried?” Boom asks. Smart is quiet for a second. He shifts slightly, just enough to rest more of his weight against his back. “I am,” he says. Boom turns to glance at him. “But it settles down when I’m here,” Smart continues. “With you.” They kiss. Just for a moment, everything else fades. The heat, the noise, the mess outside. All of it slips away. And then… Boom yelps and jerks away. “Ah—!” Something cold presses against the side of his neck. He twists around, glaring. Smart’s holding a chilled can of coke there, condensation dripping. “Smart, it’s cold!” “I thought you said it was hot.” Boom glares at him harder. Smart grins. Smart tries again, pressing the cold, wet can to his neck. Boom twists away. “Noooooo!!!” He grabs Smart’s wrist, half laughing. “Don’t. It’s cold!” “Hold still.” “Smart!” They wrestle until Boom slips. They both go down. A soft thud. Tangled limbs. Breathless laughter. Slowly they become hushed gasps and exhales. The fan keeps turning overhead. For a while, nothing else matters. 🤍🤍🤍 #SmartBoom #Auralis
