Saturday February, 17th 2024 my dreams became a reality. I anchored my first newscast !!!!! I’ve been waiting on this moment for quite some time. It’s been 5 years since I started my professional journey as a reporter & I cant believe I am finally here as an EMMY award winning anchor reporter. I feel extremely blessed to be in this position. I remember in college at Hampton Univeristy, working night and day to perfect my skills as an anchor on our TV station WHOV. I remember praying for this moment during those 4 years & now it’s finally here. I’m extremely grateful for everyone who believed in me and supported me thus far. I also appreciate everyone who got up to watch me anchor the 6-8AM newscast. I cannot tell you all how much that means to me, because I know that was early for so many people. This is only the beginning & I can’t wait to see what else God has in store for me.
