Finished Marx's Inferno, 5/5. This is such a great book. A non-fiction book that is a page turner. It also shows how and why Marx was the inheritor of a socialist tradition and the "Virgil" to lead the Proletariat from Hell and Purgatory to the Social Republic. (1/3)

It be odd to speak of China as the target of misanalysis and misunderstanding from Western Marxist, and then conclude, that China's transition into Soc. Market Econ is not the point.

@duneposter @Gattungswesen25 Well there are a couple disagreements, let me list 2. First off there is the fact that what "western marxism" is, is a vague handwavy generalization. Second, it doesn't actually engage with how Chinese people see China and its evolution into a Socialist Market Economy.

I think its fundamentally important to always remember its the system and structure of Capitalism that is the issue. Not distinct individuals or a personalize thing. Its never been crony baron capitalist, its the system itself.
