We are glad to announce that following our training on global citizenship in New Delhi India, we are partnering with @UNESCO_MGIEP and @APCEIU to implement aspects of GCED in our project with the kakamega tropical rainforest ecosystem.

Climate and Child Initiative has partnered with ESCAP to bring a global perspective in the fight for #climatejustice. Our team is participating in this year's International Youth Forum in Bangkok. We’re returning home with actionable ideas to empower the African Child.

In our quest towards #climatejustice and achieving the #sdgs we are working with schools in our interventions to provide these activities with a sustainable touch. If we do not involve children and youths, we risk missing out on the sustainability aspect of the interventions.

Teaching school children about the environment is not just about planting trees, it’s about planting seeds of knowledge, responsibility and stewardship. By understanding the impact of climate change, conservation and sustainable living, children become the guardians of our planet
