Delivered training to the educate group around work life balance. I started with the Modified ‘Flow’ Model to get educators to pin point where they currently are within their workplace. ➡️The aim is FLOW, but many said they were at the point of ‘fear of failing’ as a teacher🌱

I got to visit a high school today with an incredible wellbeing program in place. They have financially prioritised this and have an on-site doctor, mental health practitioners, food programs, cultural workers + literacy intervention for every single 12-14 yr old. So good.

Numbing the #truth. If you recognise/ witness habitual behaviours from loved ones, friends, colleagues it’s a sign someone might be filling a hole (with alcohol, gambling, excessive cleaning, binging) ➡️ identify the truth that is being numbed 🌱 @Fearnecotton #SpeakYourTruth

We must pay close attention to our younger professionals joining the #teaching profession or any #workplace. With the changing conversation and #mentalhealth focus, there’s an expectation that workplaces support their #staffwellbeing or they will look elsewhere 🌱

What if we just watered the leaves (students) of a plant? The roots (staff) need watering to allow our students, the key reason we do what we do to flourish and #succeed. ➡️ #workplaces (employers & employees) must prioritise the roots first to allow growth 🌱 #rEDwarr

➡️74% of younger professionals would look for other jobs if workplaces did not support their well-being needs. ➡️59% of employers believe work places do not do enough to support health & wellbeing 🧐 ➡️ it is within our duty to ensure individual well-being is supported 🌱
