Still in shock we got to open an Alpha pack at on Pack it Up in Vegas, and even more shocked that I ended up winning the cards. It's taking all my strength to not immediately stick the Mountain and Plains into my sleeveless Rocco/Norin deck.

@georgino2369 okay, so now I'm trying to play it and sideboarding seems challenging, lmao. had a good laugh when someone tried to strip me with a White Orchid Phantom after I brought in the mountain. Nice Deck.

Finally got rank 1. This boros belcher deck has been amazing so many turn 2 and 3 kills. The day has been an absolute blast.

@e_fosa08 Bit of a toss-up. My guess is that when Nolan showed up to fetch Mark Debbie realised she still had lingering emotions for him. Then she couldn't admit it to herself, because redemption didn't seem possible. The show will make a big deal out of it if D/N becomes a thing again

@jebgriffinmtg Immediate thought is that without dark ritual/culling ritual you're pretty far from going off. When you go off your life total is a relevant resource considering you have another Ad Nauseum and a few Griefs in your deck. And... you only have one shot at Tendrils.

Trying to figure this out.

PSA: This card does NOT stop a Cascade into Living End or the creatures coming back from the graveyard! I've ran into a handful of people who bring this in for game two and then seem flabbergasted when it doesn't work 😂

@nestapendragon Strip Mine gives those effects a bad rep, Wasteland is the less toxic option. But then, why not both? And why stop there?

I am a land destruction believer. Land destruction needs to be normalized and celebrated in EDH. B2 decks should all have strip mines in them. The MTG "Lands are sacred and untouchable" rein of terror must come to an end. 🛘💥🧨

How do we break this in Pauper?

@SaffronOlive I don't know Seth, jumping through a hoop to draw 2 cards every turn is more or less the norm these days. It is very pip-heavy and it doesn't prepare untill you reach your second main phase. I don't think this card is good when you can play Unholy Annex.

I think this might be one of the best prepare creatures in the set. All it takes is a single +1/+1 counter (from a Map, Mutagen, whatever) to turn this into a super snowbally card advantage engine. Worst case, it's insane in Soul Sisters.

This card seems straight up broken in landfall decks. If you add earthbend lands to the mix to sacrifice it can potentially generate 7 landfall trigger in a turn. Even without earthbend you get five counting your normal land drop, which is super lethal with Tifa or Harmonizer.
