you want more sales? get comfortable with rejection... you're going to get more Nos than Yeses, that's just the game the issue is most people hear no once or twice and quit they blame their niche, their offer, their timing they'll blame anything but the real problem... they just couldn't sit in the discomfort long enough to win and I get it, silence is loud when you need the win so badly when you've sent the emails, made the calls, followed up twice and still nothing it feels like you're drowning in shit that's when the majority of people break and give up they second guess copy that wasn't the issue start rebuilding an offer that didn't need it doing anything that feels like moving the needle without actually moving forward the ones closing the most deals aren't smarter than you they're not better salespeople than you either they just didn't quit when the silence got loud the only reason 99% of people don't make it to the top is because they quit too early keep sending trust in the process

Fear is the most powerful human emotion... here's how I weaponize it to close more deals, every prospect you speak to is already afraid of something your job isn't to create fear, it's to find it, name it and aim it Diagnose the fear before you pitch ask the right questions early on what happens to the business if [problem] isn't solved in 90 days let them imagine and speak their worst nightmare, the prospect who hears their own fear outload is already a deal half-closed Make stagnation feel dangerous most pitches sell the upside, you don't want to sound like everyone else so what do I do? sell the cost of standing still your competitor is moving, your window is closing, your market is shifting staying exactly where you are isn't safe, it's the riskiest move in the room Position your offer as the only rational exit not "one of many options" but THE solution by the time you actually get to the offer, your prospect shouldn't be comparing you to other options they should be comparing their business with you vs if they did nothing that's an easy close. fear doesn't need to be manufactured, it's already there, it just needs to be held up to the light do that well enough and the offer sells itself

Just got off a call with someone doing multiple Ms a year looking at their first equity deal. They kept saying "I wish I had more leverage to get better terms." I had to stop them because they already had leverage, they just didn’t see it. Operators doing around $1M-$10M have no idea they're sitting on two things VCs and founders desperately need - distribution and a testing ground. Every info business has at least 1,000 solid clients per year. You can test products with customers who are patient because they're not paying for that specific thing or you just add it as supplementary software and get real-time feedback. That's massive for companies trying to iterate quickly. This is why a very large VC firm invested 3x what I invested in one of our portfolio companies but my share is 1.5x theirs. I brought something worth more than money (distribution and a feedback loop they couldn't get anywhere else). If you're doing $3M-$10M in info, you have the same leverage. You just need to use it.
