@cloudify Thanks for this. I’m checking it out. Based on what I see, the IO app is for news and payments. HeyGov will improve citizen happiness. It will be like a “Municipal Help Desk App” that citizen can use to report issues and where municipal staff can manage them.

@dustonio If I understand it right, HeyGov is similar in concept to Project IO, currently used by 3M citizens in Italy to interact with gov and local municipalities io.italia.it

@caludio we use io-ts everywhere on the edge of our typescript applications, both for decoding/parsing (inbound) and encoding (outbound) to guarantee compliance with published API contracts

I don't have a CS degree...or any degree. Some of our best engineers at GitHub never even graduated high school. But also, some of them had a BS, masters, or PhD in CS. Amazing programmers come from all backgrounds. Using formal education as a hiring filter is nonsense.
