🏠🤝 #Poloniex #CryptoCommunity @PoloniexChinese

As a corporate representative deeply involved in the rule-making discussions around the EU MiCA framework, I’ve started questioning something fundamental:
After full regulatory integration, what is BTC’s real investment thesis?
Let’s be intellectually honest.
A significant portion of Bitcoin’s transactional utility historically came from censorship-resistant settlement — which, in practice, included gray and black market usage.
If compliance layers tighten, KYC/AML expands, exchanges become fully surveilled, and on/off ramps are regulated under MiCA — then BTC increasingly behaves like a regulated risk asset, not a parallel monetary system.
So the core valuation question becomes:
Does Bitcoin’s long-term investment value depend on the persistence (or growth) of gray and black market demand for permissionless settlement?
In other words:
If illicit or semi-illicit economic activity structurally declines over time, does BTC’s fundamental demand shrink with it?
Or alternatively — is there a durable, legitimate macro use case strong enough to sustain long-term valuation independent of shadow-economy demand?
This is not a moral argument. It’s a structural one.
Regulation changes incentives. Incentives reshape demand. Demand defines price.
Investors should be asking the uncomfortable questions now.

On-chain data and market trackers show @binance has seen billions of dollars of assets withdrawn in a short period, including stablecoins like USDT as well as other major cryptos, indicating capital moving off the exchange rather than rotating internally.
