RUMOUR 🚨: Starmer could be forced out as soon as Monday. He won’t leave with triggering a snap election If so we should have a general election called on Monday or Tuesday And Nigel will be our next Prime Minister.

With respect to Catherine West, leadership contests and public ultimatums are not what the country needs right now. The public expects government to govern, not endless internal theatrics. The priority should be getting on with the job the British people elected Labour to do.

'I will put my name forward to stand for the leader of the Labour party' Labour MP Catherine West tells #BBCPM that she will begin a leadership election on Monday morning if the cabinet doesn't elect a leader amongst themselves.

Chris Mason, Laura Kuenssberg, Trevor Phillips, Sam Coates, Robert Peston and yes you Beth Rigby, all gave Nigel Farage carte blanche to avoid any kind of scrutiny re his £5 Mn 'gift' and his other financial shenanigans. Appalling bias. They are a disgrace. #bbclaurak #SkyNews

@RobertJenrick Gordon Brown led the UK bank rescue package in October 2008, which recapitalised major banks and guaranteed interbank lending. This became a template that other countries, quickly followed. Bit like you played a major role in opening up migrant hotels

Today I’m pleased to appoint @GordonBrown as my Special Envoy on Global Finance and Cooperation. As Britain’s longest-serving Chancellor, Gordon is well placed to work with our international allies to build a stronger Britain and boost our country’s security and resilience.

@cmochri1 @AkkadSecretary They are not truly independent by being in the EU. If they left the EU, they would truly be independent. Real Walsh nationalists would support a independent Wales with no EU membership. Plus they wouldn't support changing the demographic of Wales.

In yet another example of ethnicity being the bedrock of humanity, Wales has political split between Reform and Plaid Cymru on cultural lines. Welsh speaking areas going to Welsh Nationalism and Anglophone areas going to Reform UK.

@cmochri1 @AkkadSecretary Not a real independent Wales, They want to join the EU. and they want a black nation with mass immigration/diversity. Not a Walsh nation which is White. The Welsh people are White.

Labour you are nearly 2 years in and have done some great work. However the biggest thing what has allowed the right to take over so quickly is the media. They have worked to bring down an elected gov, including the BBC and nothing has happened to stop this.

Why Are Kier Starmer and Lisa Nandy doing nothing to hold the BBC to account for their blatant right-wing bias? It's pitiful, Labour.

The First Minister of Wales is at risk of loosing her seat in the Senedd this afternoon. Welsh Labour have said she takes responsibility for Labour’s losses in this election. Our Senior Reporter Claire Boad is at the count in Llandysul, West Wales for us.

My prediction: This increase in Reform winning council vacancies will show the local people how bad they are at running anything/managing budgets/getting things done. They won’t win again.

Nick Robinson: is it time to talk about Labour leadership? He, along with the rest of the BBC and the MSM have done nothing but talk about it since the day of the general election. And if the leadership should change, they will do exactly the same with the next leader.
