With respect to Catherine West, leadership contests and public ultimatums are not what the country needs right now. The public expects government to govern, not endless internal theatrics. The priority should be getting on with the job the British people elected Labour to do.

@cmochri1 @AkkadSecretary They are not truly independent by being in the EU. If they left the EU, they would truly be independent. Real Walsh nationalists would support a independent Wales with no EU membership. Plus they wouldn't support changing the demographic of Wales.

In yet another example of ethnicity being the bedrock of humanity, Wales has political split between Reform and Plaid Cymru on cultural lines. Welsh speaking areas going to Welsh Nationalism and Anglophone areas going to Reform UK.

Labour you are nearly 2 years in and have done some great work.However the biggest thing what has allowed the right to take over so quickly is the media.They have worked to bring down an elected gov,including the BBC and nothing has happened to stop this.
