I get what you’re trying to do, I guess I look at these clips and I’m curious as to why you don’t have the Center solo and your BS guard heavy on the stab backside 4i/3tech. Because if the center loses on an overreach he loses on his back shoulder and can seal him vs a 4i/3tech chasing dtl or getting caught with a hold. Or I guess my question is philosophy wise, is it better that the nose would lose the leverage on the chase, center is able to climb to the backer with the bs guard securing the nose? I feel that you’re kind of closing your cutback gaps with this version effectively blocking two halves on the down lineman or what do you feel comfortable with getting to the BS lb? I guess the version I’m suggesting is securing backside defensive flow first level but second level you’d have to ride backside hips or get across face and ride.

SLINGSHOT IS THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL TECHNIQUE I TEACH! If you get beat on the backside of wide zone, the only recovery is grabbing the defender's hip with your backside hand. Trying to get your head across will only push him toward the play.
