@CoachStackRVXC @XCoachLew West Flo used to do a 2 mile relay in the pre-season. May have to consider bringing it back. Our struggle was getting area teams to commit to come.

Man what happened to the relay meets? I don’t think we’ve had one since @XCoachLew was at Irmo . It was such a good and fun idea man . Gave the kids a break from the 5Ks & still bread competition. Man I’d love to have something like that at RV!

Due to 🏀 this young man came out for track later than most. In this, his s 1st year of track, he was the runner up in HJ. I swear he has springs for feet! He is one of the most respectful, coachable, TEAM oriented young men on our team too!

Love this kid too! One of most coachable athletes we have on our squad! Shows up early, stays late, does what it takes AND THEN SOME! A well rounded young man that can play some football and a mean trumpet too! Proud of you Ellis!!!

This young man was another one of our big success stories this season! Takes his hurdling serious! He is also a go to if we need a last minute alternate on the 4x4! He’s a team 1st kind of athlete. Was so excited for him to have a big PR @ State and make it onto the podium!

Can’t say enough good things about this kid!!! STATE CHAMP in the 100m. The thing I love the most about him is how much he loves his teammates. He was the bridge between the sprints, distance, and field athletes. We’re definitely going to miss having him around next year.

@EducatorMNS @CoachDavenport2 There should be someone from each region involved throughout the whole event if we can’t get certified officials. The bigger challenge is finding enough officials.
