@danclayt0n So, I really like the concept. Simming made it clear it’s still 3 spots w/equal chance at #1 pick, they’re just shifted. Instead of 30, 29, and 28 being the targets, it becomes 30, 24, and 18. Guaranteed that Play In Teams will tank out of the playoffs.

What do y'all think? Julian's proposal is a 2-step lottery where 3 pods of 6 have a first-phase lottery to determine order within the 1-6, 7-12 and 13-18 ranges, and THEN the actuall lottery runs.

Let’s be honest here. Nobody is worried about the ‘integrity’ of the game. That got thrown out the window a long time ago. So who would be perfectly fine if the Jazz lied about a bunch of injuries and kept players out, but would then be very pissed at the Jazz for playing players and then sitting them out in the fourth quarter? Also, who would also have ESPN and other talking heads in their back pocket? I can’t seem to put my finger on it…maybe it some FANs who want to see athletes really DUEL it on the court so that we could see who really deserves a top spot in the DRAFT and become the league’s new KINGS.

We let in weak district champions in high school football, we let in (almost) all conference champs in FCS/D2/D3, we let in sub-.500 NFL division champs (and sometimes the Atlanta Falcons). But in major college football, so many people treat this like a unique and grievous sin.

@CriddleBenjamin Here’s the things for me: - In real-time, the sound of the helmets colliding make total sense to me for the refs to flag for targeting to err on the side of caution - I’m all for making a call to force a review to get it right - The RTP penalty tacked on is absolute garbage.

This Big Ten schedule is so weird. If either Ohio State or Indiana pick up a dumb loss somewhere, the tiebreakers could get very messy, since there are a LOT of teams that don't play either Ohio State or Indiana this year that could potentially finish with just 1 B1G loss
