The Dodgers mourn the loss of Davey Lopes, who passed away today at age 80. Lopes was a member of the team’s record-setting infield of the 1970s and 1980s and one of the finest basestealers in MLB history. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

He barely gets any movement after contact, then his feet end up back where they started as he gets pushed into the hole, and then he gets a holding call if the RB is pressing it front side. Why are we glorifying dumb reps like this?

The biggest competitive advantage at the high school level right now is nutrition.
Big time programs are investing through boosters or grants to feed their athletes throughout the day.
I think people would be shocked how many kids don’t eat breakfast, and not always by choice

Hard coaching without relationship produces resentment. Relationship without hard coaching produces entitlement. The sweet spot is a player who knows you love them and knows you will not lower the bar for them.

S&C Programming is a MASSIVE factor in raising athletic potential. You have to be deliberate, detailed & dive into the data
Yes HS kids improve with good training but they will THRIVE with elite programming. Elite S&C improves on-field performance. Poor S&C doesn't.

Quick feet don’t eat. Strong feet do.
Strong feet allow us to create displacement, gain leverage advantage, and absorb collisions.
Strong feet are built through Plyos, Marches, Sprinting, Isometrics… NOT ladders and pre determined footwork drills🙌🏻
