@2_nueve Just one last tidbit. Yes, he represents brands, but he also represents members of society that look like and speak like him and whom society fears that can't exercise fundamental rights because of fear. His gun safety is terrible but don't suppress his rights because of fear

@2_nueve And yes, I have been NBA players that flashed guns, hunted with firearms, had dinner with guns, and took pictures with guns. We need the dialogue to be candid and not hidden behind self-righteousness.

@coachlowerync Nobody cares if he has a gun…I’m sure over 50% of nba players own a gun. The problem is flashing the gun as if he doesn’t represent the nba and Nike brands. Do you ever see any nba player flashing guns? It’s pretty simple.

Why is Ja Morant having a gun a story? Is he a felon? Has he been charged with an act of domestic violence? Has he been disqualified from owning a firearm? The 2nd amendment applies to all, regardless of Race, Sex, or Occupation. Don't make a new biased narrative.@espn @NBA
