@chriscfore I literally resigned as a head coach toward the end of the season because the principal and AD tried to bully me into a meeting with a parent. The athlete had not missed anytime on the field. They wanted to bitch about position. I refused. Admin told me I couldn’t. I resigned.

Talk about bowing down to parents. One year when I was an AP, brand new football coach I recruited won the school's first League Championship in FOURTEEN years! Still, a daddy baller was mad his son didn't play more, so he contacted the Superintendent in February after his son's senior year of football. Super should have referred him back to the school, he didn't. Super emailed me and said that our head football coach needed to meet with him. I told the Superintendent that the head coach wouldn't meet with him, but I was happy to. Super told me to make the coach meet with the parent. Coach didn't want to. I supported the coach. Contacted the parent and said I would be more than happy to meet with him, but the coach wouldn't. Super wasn't happy. Covid ended the discussion when schools shut down. Super was busted a short time after that for stealing flowers and wine from Stater Brothers.

But sure if it makes you feel better saying that everyone pays tuition at Bosco run with it. 😂 but in a year when Bosco is out of money and the LA archdiocese refuses to pay to pay the bills you can say I was right

People don't seem to understand what City Section football once was. In 2009, Crenshaw made the CIF state championship Open Division game vs. De La Salle. Carson once beat Mater Dei twice. Carson and Banning could beat anyone during the Vollnogle and Ferragamo years. It's a long road back.

Los Alamitos has selected its football coach … letter to parents … “However, at this time, we are not able to share the name of our new coach. We need to allow time for appropriate coordination and communication with his current employer before making a public announcement.”

@latsondheimer Olympic tickets are a good example of how it’s out of control. 12 tickets $1,400😳. Three days of rugby. I pay 150 a ticket for three days of rugby watching the LA 7’s in Carson.

There comes a point where the price of admission, price of parking, price of food becomes too much in the sports experience. I don’t know how it is in small towns but it’s reaching a point of no return for many in Los Angeles. Problem.
