Throughout the season, Rick Majerus scheduled 20 minutes of skill work before practice, 20 minutes during practice, and 20 minutes after practice. We worked with small groups, focusing on shooting drills related to our offensive concepts. “I’d rather have a more skilled basketball player at the end of the season than another set play.” #MondayWithMajerus

@GaTechAlum_IE92 Why is it overkill? Whose rule is that? If a kid loves it, they love it. What if a kid works out 5am- 7am and another kid 6pm-8pm. Is that overkill? Would you tell NBA\WNBA player what they did as kids was overkill? Please explain.

My son got middle school kids that train at 5am every day before school. I keep telling yall. Some kids built different and are willing to do what you won’t. Don’t let this happen to you. Someone is always doing more. Are you?

Coaching. Vicious business. Reality. Fine. Now what? Find next place, don't pout, forget about fairness, & be resilient. Attitude beyond gratitude, it is more about taking punches than giving them. You say love of game & players the thing. Well prove it, stop whining & go-go-go.

Critics. Enemy not enemy? Not even. Think of empty chairs, someone-anyone will sit in critics chair. No need to validate critics w/ acidic responses, waste of your emotional energy. Instead, stay the course w/ your plan, smile when it hurts, & forge ahead w/out rancor.
