You are correct. And it’s great theory and a lot of fun when playing teams you should beat anyway. But when playing good teams, in bad weather conditions. Or great defenses. Or playing with a backup QB. Or with time and score being a factor???? That’s all I’m saying. Don’t just say I’m always going for it on 4th down because I want to be aggressive. Vrabel went for it on 4th and inches. (I’m not sure he made it but they ruled it a 1st down.) Then they had a 4th and longer he kicked the FG. Different circumstances=different decision.
